AntwortenLöschenRg1 is much better than Rh1. If fact Rg1 is a mate in 15 (I saw it right away *hehe*.) It starts like this:

o.k. Rg1 is interesting; but 40.Qf6+ is nonsens, isn't it? 40.Qc7+ is much better. I can not see any forced mate after 40.Qc7+
AntwortenLöschen40. Qxf6+ is the only way to stop an even faster checkmate. For example:

Oh, now I see, cool! Staggering, that I does not see the variation with 1' left on the clock ;-)
